1. Preoperation preparation: No need of special preparation and anaesthesia.
2. Patient's Fixation: Patient should lie flat on the couch and then is stabilized by positioning fixation device.
3. CT/MR scanning: To scan the CT/MRI first to precisely localizing certain lesion as the target.
4. Making a therapeutic plan: After having inputted the scanned outcome into the workstation of the therapy planning system, doctor starts to lay down a corresponding therapy plan according to the location, size, shape and property, etc. 
5. To perform radiation therapy: To implement such a treatment through the therapeutic operational system on the basis of the therapeutic planning parameters.
6. Release the positioning fixation: To release off the positioning fixation device when the treatment is over. 
7. End of the treatment: The treated patient can walk off the treatment room on his/her own after the therapy ends. 

1. Few special points have to be paid attention to before a full-body gamma knife surgery. Gamma knife treatment is suitable for the elder, weak and those patients who have obvious complication or cannot receive other surgical treatment.  
2. According to the position, property and size of the lesion of patient, ask the patient to wear the same clothes and keep the same poise during surgery as they wear and make during CT scan and keep his/her stomach, bladder or intestinal tract under the brimming status.
3. Patients had better breathe quietly and avoid movement after being fixed on the surgery bed.
4. A few patients may have uncomfortable reaction on the corresponding radiated part or even on the whole body, but they can be recovered by themselves or with the help of medicines.
5. After the treatment, the patients shall be re-examined at regular intervals according to doctor's recommendations.

　　2. Partial Remission: The lesion is reduced by over 50%. 
　　3. No Change: The lesion does not dwindle or only is reduced by less than 50%.  
　　4. Development: The disease focus grows larger than before.
